As secretariat and PR support for the Highways Term Maintenance Association (HTMA), thePRfirm were dedicated in making their 4th conference a huge success. ‘Facing the Future in Hard Times’ was held in London and received the highest attendance of any HTMA conference to date, including senior people from both the private and public sector. thePRfirm organised all aspects of the event, including marketing materials, event advertising, booking speakers, selling tickets, and drumming up media attention and public interest. A conference website was developed, which featured information for delegates, videos and speaker presentations and a feedback survey. This resulted in strong media coverage throughout the trade press.
