Krystallon, a joint venture between BP Marine and Kittiwake, asked thePRfirm to help launch a revolutionary new product that reduced harmful emissions from shipping fuels. thePRfirm used extensive PR techniques to enable Seawater Scrubber technology to become the market leader in scrubber technology. Along with dozens of media placements, including a front-page story in The Guardian, thePRfirm submitted the technology for the prestigious Sea Trade Awards in 2007. Krystallon was recognised by the marine industry, winning the award for the Protection of the Marine and Atmospheric Environment.
